Discovering God’s love begins for each of us at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. That love unfolds before us as we prayerfully study God’s Word and as we discover and rediscover it in people and through experiences.
His love kindles a fire within us to love and care for others.
We want to share with anyone and everyone the love God has given to us.
Commitment to Worship
God is present and alive in our worship services, affording personal opportunities to express love and adoration through a variety of worship and music formats for all ages. We praise God through Christ-centered, Spirit-led, relevant exposition of His inerrant and faithful Word and celebration of His sacraments.
Commitment to the Gospel
Programs and ministries for all age groups provide support and equip the body to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Every believer is responsible to reflect God’s love through words and actions, involved in mission outreach, evangelism and prayer.
Commitment to Education
Christ leads His children to a lifestyle of application-based, experiential, relational growth. We integrate His Word into our lives and the lives of our families and our children so we might become more like Jesus.
Commitment to Fellowship
We assemble in a variety of fellowship formats for families and all age groups to share God’s love and grow in His grace. Spiritual growth is enhanced and nurtured through prayer, sharing and personal support.
Commitment to Service
As Christ’s children, we strive to be a continual extension of Him, demonstrating His love by serving one another--our families, our neighbors and well beyond. Spontaneous, responsive care-giving, guided by His personal touch, impacts the world around us and evidences God’s love in our lives.
Commitment to Excellence
As God is a God of excellence, deserving our best at all times, our congregation strives for the highest standards in programs and facilities. These same standards of excellence lead each of us to strive for lives of integrity and authenticity.
Commitment to Harmony
As Jesus prayed for His followers to be one, we strive for openness and the blending of each person’s diverse gifts to achieve harmony in carrying out the plans which God would have us follow. We emphasize honesty and sensitivity to others’ views, speaking the truth in love.

Our purpose is to encourage the ongoing spiritual growth of believers of all ages, which always includes reaching out to those who do not know Jesus. Our goal is to empty hell and fill heaven.
